In February of 2009 the New York Rangers honored Adam Graves by retiring his jersey to the rafters at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers needed an interactive accompaniment that properly represented Adam's accomplishments on the ice and in the community, and turned to Omnigon to develop a fitting tribute online.
Project DetailThe Omnigon team designed a site that gave a voice to Graves' fans, provided history on his career, and created a mosaic of images forming a replica of the banner being retired in his honor.
The images uploaded by fans created the tribute; a fitting way to thank the man who had given so much to the Rangers and the city of New York.
Omnigon ValueIn the end, the Omnigon team envisioned, designed, and developed a social media experience that provided a tribute that not only stood for the moment in time where Adam was honored, but continues today as an evolving statement to his effect on The Rangers and the city of New York.
AwardsThe Adam Graves Tribute Site received a 2009 Interactive Media Award (IMA) for Outstanding Achievement in the 'Fan & Celebrity' category.
